How it works:
Claire used to like grocery shopping. But ever since she is a mother of two, grocery shopping has become – let’s say - a little bit less fun. Matter of fact, Claire would rather take her kids to get flu shots or suffer through a Chuck E. Cheese party than grocery shopping.

But because Claire and her neighbor friends realized that grocery shopping without kids is like a spa treatment, they joined forces. The neighborhood friends decided to set up their own Grocery Home Delivery Service - and you guessed right: There is an app for that. Introducing: piggybag.

So now, whenever one of the ladies has the chance to shop under more desirable circumstances, she uses the free piggybag app to see if any of her friends need groceries delivered.

This afternoon, Pam decided that she would stop at the grocery store after work. So that gives her friends a couple of hours to send their orders in to Pam. To shop for somebody else should never be a hassle, so the orders are limited to three items per person.

That works for Claire. Today, she is in desperate need of some diapers and cereal. Now that she knows that Pam’s is willing to shop for her, she can conveniently order her items with the piggybag app.

After shopping for her own groceries and Claire’s items, Pam drops off the diapers and the cereal at her neighbors’ house. The two friends have a running grocery tab so that they don’t have to settle the grocery bill in cash right away. And bringing the groceries is for free, as piggybag is amongst friends. This time Pam shopped for Claire and next time Claire - or somebody else from Pam’s circle of friends - might shop for her.
